A
great accompaniment to meat dishes where a couple of spoonfuls adds a crunchy
texture to a meal. The best part of this dish is that it can be served hot or
cold.
Ingredients

Large-sized Savoy cabbage
4 pieces
Juniper berries
1 clove
Garlic, crushed
4 tbsp
Vegetable oil
1 tsp
Caster sugar
1 tsp
Salt
Method :
Crush juniper berries finely in a mortar with a
pestle.
Shred the cabbage finely.
Heat oil in a wok, add garlic and stir-fry for 1
minute.
When fragrant, add cabbage and stir-fry for 1
minute until crispy, then remove from wok and pat dry with kitchen paper.
Reheat wok and return the cabbage to it, add
sugar, salt and crushed juniper berries and toss the cabbage so that it is well coated and
thoroughly mixed with the flavorings.
