Vietnamese Dipping Sauce Recipe

Serve this dip in a small bowl as an accompaniment  to spring rolls or meat dishes.

 

Ingredients

2 pieces Fresh red chilies, small size, seeded and finely chopped
1 clove Garlic crushed
4 tbsp Coconut milk
2 tbsp Fish sauce  | what is  |  how to prepare  |
1 tbsp Roasted peanuts
2 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Fresh coriander, chopped
- Juice of one lime

 

Method :

  • Pound the chilies and garlic in a mortar with a pestle.

  • Add peanuts and pound until crushed.

  • Add coconut milk, fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and coriander, mix well.

  • Serve in a small bowl as an accompaniment.
