Burmese Fish Sauce Dip Recipe

How to
prepare fish sauce dip, Burmese style
|
Ingredients |
| 250 ml |
Water |
| 2 pieces |
Dried red chilies, soaked |
| 2 pieces |
Bird's-eye chilies |
| 2 cloves |
Garlic |
| 1 tbsp |
Preserved fish paste |
| 1 tbsp |
Dried shrimps, soaked |
| 1/4 tsp |
Turmeric powder |
Method :
-
In a saucepan, bring water, fish paste and
turmeric to a boil, then simmer to reduce by half.

Strain and discard any solids in the liquid.

Pound remaining ingredients in a mortar and stir
into the fish stock.

Serve with raw vegetables.
