Fried Kale With Crispy Pork Recipe - Kana Moo Grob

 

Roasted pork with a layer of meat, a thin layer of fat and a crispy layer of golden-brown skin contrast well in taste and texture with the vegetable. This slices of crispy fried bacon makes a good substitute.

 

Ingredients :

1 kg

250 ml

300 g

1 tablespoon

4 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

3 tablespoons

 

 

Kale ( also known by its Chinese name, kai-lan )

Chicken stock

Crispy pork, diced

Garlic, finely chopped

Oyster sauce

Sugar

Salt

Ground white pepper

Cooking oil

 

 

Method :
  • Discard leaves and the tough bottom part of the kale stems. Keep tender potion of the stems and peel the skin off. Cut stems into 5 - 8 cm lengths.

  • Heat oil in a wok and add garlic and stir fry till fragrant.

  • Toss in the kale stems and the crispy pork. Stir to mix well then add in all the seasonings and stock.

  • Mix well, heat through and serve immediately.
