Filipino Fried Egg Bundle Recipe ( Lumpiang )
A popular Filipino variant of
the Chinese egg roll.
Ingredients : |

Egg
roll wrappers
Ground pork
Prawns, finely chopped
Water chestnut, chopped
Spring onions, finely chopped
Light soy sauce
Black pepper, freshly ground
Salt
One
egg, beaten
Oil
for deep-frying

Method :

Mix pork, prawns, water chestnuts, spring onions, egg and soy sauce
together and season with salt and black pepper

Place a spoonful of the filling on each egg roll wrappers

Roll firmly, making sure filling is compacted. Continue till filling is
all used up.

Heat oil in wok/pan and deep-fry in low heat till egg roll wrapper is
golden brown, making sure filing is thoroughly cooked

Absorb excess oil on paper towel and serve with some sweet and sour
dipping sauce.
