Steamed Eggs with Prawns Recipe

Ingredients :

Seasoning

 

1 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

1/4 teaspoon

 

Prawns, shelled and chopped lightly

Large eggs

spring onion, chopped

Reserved oil from frying shallots

Shallots, sliced

Oil

Water

 

 

 

Salt

Sugar

pepper

Method :
  • Heat wok with 2 tablespoon oil and lightly brown shallots. Set aside and reserve the oil

  • Beat eggs gently, avoid creating froth, and stir in seasoning ingredients and water. Add prawns and pour into a heat-proof dish
  • Steam over rapidly boiling water for 12 minutes until egg custard is just set
  • Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of the reserved oil
  • Sprinkle chopped spring onions and shallots crisps and serve.
