Korean Beef Stock Recipe

Beef stock is a very essential component of Korean cuisine. Knowing how to prepare a good beef stock is the secret to great Korean food.

Ingredients :

1 kg

2 liters

Shin beef, in one piece

Water

 

 

 

 

Method :

 

  • Put beef in a pan with water and bring to a boil.

  • Simmer for 10 - 15 minutes, then skim off  all the materials that has risen to the top of the liquid

  • Cover the pan, lower the heat and simmer very gently for 1 - 2 hours.

  • Strain stock and store in the refrigerator if need be. Do not store for more than a week.

  • Use beef for other recipes.
