Ingredients :
120 g
1 1/2 liters
480 g
2 teaspoons
2 stalks
1 tablespoon
1 piece
Beef sirloin, finely shredded
Beef stock
Firmly packed sliced kim chi
Beancurd, sliced into rectangles approx 3 by 2 cm
Garlic, smashed and finely chopped
Chili powder
Scallion (spring onions) thinly sliced
Cooking oil
Small red or green chili, sliced
Method :
Use a cast iron pot. Heat oil and stir-fry beef until it changes color.
Add in the garlic and kim chi and stir fry for 1 minute or till fragrant then add in the beef stock.
Bring to a boil and simmer for 1 - 2 minutes.
Add in the beancurd and chili powder, return to boil, and simmer for 1 - 2 minutes more.
Sprinkle with scallions and sliced chilies and served hot.
