Beancurd With Spicy Sauce Recipe

A delicious and innovative way serving beancurds

Ingredients :

300 g

 

 

Sauce:

4 teaspoons

1 teaspoon

1 clove

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

1 piece

1 teaspoon

Soft beancurd, chilled and quartered or left whole

 

 

 

Light soy sauce

Sesame oil

Garlic, crushed and finely chopped

Scallions, finely chopped

Chili powder

Water

Fresh chili, finely chopped

Sesame seeds, toasted and lightly crushed when warm

 

A generous pinch of dried red chili strips for garnishing

 

Method :

 

  • Place the whole beancurd in one serving bowl

  • Combine all sauce ingredients, stirring to mix well, then drizzle the sauce over the top of the beancurd

  • Garnish with finely chopped chili and a generous pinch of dried red chili strips if desired

  • Serve as a side dish with rice and other dishes.
