Sushi Rice With Topping Recipe - Chirashi -sushi

The tiny dried fish called for are sold in packets; they are usually dried and cooked silver fish.

Cooked vinegared rice

Tiny dried fish (optional)

Medium-sized cooked shrimp, halved and opened butterfly style

Eggs, lightly beaten, fried as an omelet and shredded

Toasted laver (nori), finely shredded

Raw tuna, cut in strips

Squids, blanched and cut in strips

Shrimp flakes

Grilled eel, available in can or in vacuum pack

Pickled ginger slices

Light soy sauce

Japanese wasabi paste

 

 

 

Method :
  • Mix the sushi rice with dried fish (thread-like dried and cooked silver fish sold in packets).
  • Put the mixture in 4 serving bowls or wooden boxes and level the surface.
  • Scatter with seaweed and omelet and place all other ingredients decoratively on top
