Chicken Teriyaki Recipe

A
simple bowl of rice is the idea companion to this subtle Japanese chicken dish

Ingredients |
| 450 g |
Boneless chicken breast, skinned |
| |
Garnish: orange peel, mustard and cress
|

The
Marinade |
|
| 2 tbsp |
Dark soy sauce |
| 1 tbsp |
Rice wine |
| 1 tbsp |
Sake |
| 1 tsp |
Sugar |
| |
Grated rind of 1 orange |
Method :
-
Prepare chicken by slicing it into long thin
strips using cleaver or a sharp knife.

Mix the marinade ingredients in a bowl and add
in the chicken strips, mix well and set aside for approx. 15 minutes to marinate.

Heat wok and add the chicken and marinade and
stir-fry for 4 - 5 minutes.

Serve with orange peel, mustard and cress.
