"FIVE - SIX";  CHICKEN STICKS RECIPE

 

FUN & HEALTHY CHILDREN RECIPES IN MINUTES

Fast food for children

 

Ingredients :
500g Chicken tenderloins, halved lengthwise
90g Cornflakes
125ml Teriyaki sauce
2 cloves Garlic, crushed
3 tbsp Sesame seeds
1 tbsp Honey
2 tsp Grated fresh ginger
1 tsp Sesame oil

 

Method :
  • Preheat oven to 2000C / 4000F / Gas 6.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine garlic, ginger, teriyaki sauce, honey and sesame oil with the chicken tenderloin, then toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
  • Place cornflakes in a plastic bag and crushed roughly with your hands and add the sesame seeds.
  • Drain the chicken, discarding any marinade, and place in the bag with the cornflakes. Shake well to ensure an even coat.
  • Transfer chicken onto a well greased baking tray and bake for approx. 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cook through and golden brown. No need to turn the pieces during cooking.
  • Serve hot with mayonnaise or sweet chili dipping sauce.
