Dried dates, stoned and roughly chopped
65 g
Walnuts, roughly chopped
2 tbsp
Light brown sugar
1
Egg, beaten
-
Oil for deep-frying
-
Pinch of ground cinnamon
-
Icing sugar for dusting
-
Fresh mint sprigs for decoration (optional)
Method :
In a bowl, combine the chopped dates and walnuts
and add in the sugar and cinnamon and mix well.
Lay a wontan wrapper on a flat surface, add a
spoonful of the filling to the center of the wrapper, then brush the edges with beaten egg
and cover with a second wrapper.
